Protein Packed, Speedy 5-minute Low FODMAP Yoghurt Bowl

This is one of the quickest, healthiest recipes I like to enjoy on a weekly basis. It’s simply so delicious and nutritious. With the added protein, this small but mighty yoghurt bowl will keep you full for hours! Because of our restricted yoghurt options, this coconut yoghurt is the perfect refreshing and creamy texture. I recommend you give this recipe a go- it only takes 5 minutes!

If you have a good quality protein, this recipe is absolutely incredible. I used vanilla protein powder in my yoghurt bowl, to keep the base simple, and so that I could go vibrant, and flavour packed with my toppings. I also used my delicious pecan granola for the toppings, and it added the perfect crunch element to my protein yoghurt bowl. This bowl is one of my favourite snacks when I fancy something nourishing and refreshing that doesn’t require much effort or many ingredients! Give this recipe a go and let me know what you think!

These are some of my favourite low FODMAP fruits to top onto my protein yoghurt bowl. I actually decided to add the pineapple to the yoghurt mix below the other fruits to have the refreshing zing in every bite.

Other ideas for toppings on your protein yoghurt bowl:

  • Orange
  • Maple syrup
  • Papaya
  • Flaxseeds
  • Chia Seeds
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • Spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin spice

Ingredients: (single serving)

  • 250g low FODMAP unflavoured coconut yoghurt
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup granola (check out my pecan granola recipe I used)
  • Toppings

Method:

Step 1: mix your yoghurt and protein powder in a bowl. I added my pineapple into this mix too today, and it was delicious! Then pour this into your serving bowl.

Step 2: chop up your toppings. I used strawberries, kiwi, crunchy peanut butter and granola.

Step 3: arrange your bowl.

And it really is that simple! A breakfast or snack, done in 5 minutes.
